Hello, Here's Your Perfect System newsletter. In this issue:
- Changes at Traffic Roundup
- Four ways to get free traffic.
1. Changes At Traffic Roundup Whenever you see an independent review of traffic exchanges, you will invariably find Stephen Ayer'sTraffic Roundup listed in the top 10. Usually in the top 3 places.
It's been around for a long time and has consistently delivered good service to its users. There has been a recent update and a number of new features have been introduced including:
- A new game where you can win credits.
- The ability to view sites in certain categories
only when surfing.
- A new directory where members can list their
sites and get a free backlink.
As always with Traffic Roundup, you have lots of choices. For example, if you want to surf without playing the game then you can select this option in your member profile. I guess that's the sort of thing users like - and it's probably one of the reasons why Traffic Roundup is held in such high regard.
If you're already a member then visit the site to check out the changes. If you're not a member then you can
check it out here.....
2. Four Ways To Get Free Traffic I've discussed some of these before - but it's worth a quick recap.
- Traffic Exchanges.
- Forums.
- Press Releases.
- Articles
Traffic exchanges sometimes get a bad press - but they really do work if they are used correctly. Use a "gateway" or "splash" page and you'll get results. Use an affiliate website and you'll be lucky to see a decent return on your time and effort.
Find out how to use traffic exchanges here........
Forums can be a really good way to get your name in front of people. Put your website's URL in your signature - you'll be surprised at how many visitors you attract by this method. The good thing is that they already "know" you from your posts - you can consider them to be "targeted" visitors.
Learn about forums here......
Press releases can be an amazingly powerful way to market your website. You can pay for these but it is possible to get them for free. You can be on the front page of Google in a matter of days!
Don't worry that you won't have anything to say - a couple of paragraphs is all that's required. Visit the site below and have a look at some of the live releases available - you'll soon get the hang of it.
http://www.prleap.com/
prleap is free and has good statistical reporting so you can keep track of how many views your release gets and which of the search engine robots have indexed it.
Writing articles is a great way to promote both yourself and your site. It's amazing how quickly these can be distributed around the internet. All you have to do is submit them to one or more of the free article banks available. You can find a list of good free article banks here....
Again - don't worry if you don't consider yourself to be a great writer. You can submit a list of 10 or 20 things to do in order to ....... whatever.
Get some ideas here........
Best Regards,
Hamish Hayward
