Hello,
Here's your Perfect System newsletter. It's either a little late from last weekend or a little early for this weekend - I'm not sure which! I'm having a busy time just at the moment (see item 2) - please accept my apologies.
In this issue:
1. Affiliate Marketing - Absolutely No Secrets Revealed! 2. Learning something New Is always Hard. 3. The Second Most Popular Language On The Net
No Big Secrets Revealed! If you can find a good affiliate program to promote then there really is no big secret to making money with it. Send enough people to your affiliate site and, assuming you're promoting a decent product, a percentage of them will buy. If your commission is greater than the cost of driving traffic to your site then you're in profit.
The only hard work is finding the right affiliate scheme in first place and then getting traffic to the site. If you use the 6 key criteria to evaluate affiliate schemes part one becomes easy.
If you already have a large opt-in list or a high traffic website then traffic isn't a problem either. But what if you have neither of these?
You can till make a good profit from the right affiliate scheme. Have a look at this actual case study....
Learning Something New Is Always Difficult For the last couple of weeks I have been on an intensive Portuguese language course. I spend a lot of time in Brazil and I'd like to be able to speak to meus amigos brasileiros in their own language.
I don't mind admitting that there are times when my head alternates between thumping and spinning. It's not easy - but I'm going to persevere. It's always difficult when you are learning something for the first time. Even simple tasks that you now take for granted and perform without thinking were hard at first.
Remember learning to ride a bike?
Learning to swim?
Bear that in mind the next time you're having a bad day and your internet marketing efforts aren't going as well as you had hoped for. It doesn't matter if you're a guru or a complete newbie - the internet changes so quickly that we are all learning something new every day. Keep plugging away and don't give up. It's not until you stop learning that you have to worry.
The Second Most Popular Language On The Net I don't think you'll be surprised, after all I have given you quite a big clue already. Until recently, I would have guessed at either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. However, the correct answer is Portuguese - and it's thanks to all those net loving brasileiros rather than the Portuguese in Portugal itself.
It can only be a matter of time until Chinese assumes second, and possibly even first position I suppose.
Until then you can impress your friends and amaze your neighbours with this incredible knowledge.
Best Regards,
Hamish Hayward
